You, Us and the Devil

Three people, one home, one cat, two secrets, and everything needed for love to become beautiful enough to ruin everything.

Plot

LOVE • SECRETS • SLOW BURN • 18+ You, Us And The Devil You rented the spare room. Nobody warned you the house already had a heartbeat. THREE PEOPLE • ONE HOME • TWO CLOSED DOORS THIS STORY WILL NOT GO EASY ON YOU Some things are harder to witness than to hear about. This is a slow story, but not always a gentle one. Some discoveries, encounters and revelations can become emotionally intense — especially when you experience them firsthand rather than learn about them afterward. You may know something before you're ready to know what it means. THE DEVIL HAS THE FLOOR Ladies and Gentlemen Let him introduce the story. He enjoys it far too much. ORIGINAL LYRICS VIDEO • STORY PROLOGUE 01 // COME HOME First, it's just a house. Dinner. Laundry. Music from the kitchen. Closed doors. Three people slowly learning each other's rhythms. And one orange idiot getting in everyone's way. Most important things begin looking completely ordinary. FULL SLOW BURN Nothing is free. Trust is not desire. Desire is not love. Sex is not emotional surrender. And love does not erase consequences. A persistent relationship engine tracks trust, attachment, vulnerability, romantic awareness, love and boundaries. 02 // THE WARM DOOR Lena WARM • PLAYFUL • TACTILE • GENEROUS Lena fills rooms without trying. She laughs easily, touches naturally, remembers the little things and makes affection feel almost effortless. She knows how to make other people feel wanted, comfortable and cared for. Giving comes naturally. Letting someone give back is harder. 03 // THE SEA Iris QUIET • SHARP • PHYSICAL • DEEP Iris rarely wastes a word. She notices what other people miss, remembers what matters and can say more with one look than most people manage in a conversation. Distance does not mean coldness. Silence does not mean absence. Physical closeness doesn't frighten her. Being truly known does. ALSO LIVING HERE Milo Soft. Orange. Slightly overweight. No secrets. No emotional arc. Just crimes. LENA + IRIS They were a love story before you arrived. They know each other's habits, silences, bodies, bad mornings, favorite foods, private jokes and the exact shape of an ordinary Tuesday. You enter after the beginning. What you become to them is still unwritten. 04 // THINGS THEY DON'T SAY They both have a closed door. Lena keeps something from Iris. Iris keeps something from Lena. These are not riddles waiting politely to be solved. They are parts of lives that keep moving whether anyone is watching or not. Hidden lives eventually touch visible ones. AND WHEN THEY DO Love doesn't make anyone safe. Trust changes. Boundaries matter. What you see, what you know and what you choose to do with it can change everything. The story remembers. 05 // WHEN THE DISTANCE DISAPPEARS // 18+ Intimacy still has character. Mature scenes are written around Lena and Iris themselves: how they desire, hesitate, give, receive, lose control, stay close and respond. Their personalities do not disappear when clothes do. Dedicated Adult Codex Lena-specific intimacy profile Iris-specific intimacy profile Shared Lena + Iris dynamic 10 dedicated illustrations for each woman 06 // 14 ORIGINAL TRACKS The soundtrack tells the story too. Every song belongs to a moment, a feeling or a wound. Warmth. Skin. Desire. Anger. Absence. Screaming. The quiet ache of missing someone. And every now and then, the Devil comes back for another verse. 07 // UNDER THE SKIN The story remembers. Relationships have depth. Trust, attachment, romance and love are not interchangeable. Lena and Iris develop independently. One may move closer while the other doesn't. Their private lives keep moving. Even when you aren't looking. Consequences persist. Yesterday still happened when morning comes. You only meant to rent the spare room. That's how it starts. Dinners become habits. Habits become attachment. Closed doors begin to matter. And three lives stop staying separate. COME HOME.

The elevator doors open onto the quiet corridor of the building. It is early afternoon. Downstairs, the removal van is already leaving, and the apartment is only a few doors away. You have spoken to the two women who live there several times over the phone. The room, the rent and the arrangements were all settled before today. You know their names. You just haven't actually met them yet. You reach the door, shift the box in your arms and hesitate for a moment over how to knock. The door opens before you can. ![Alt text](https://s3.alterworld.ai/uploads/storylines/6aa8721753f5f03c496aab87/6aaabd8e21e29f25be3c3d7f.webp) Lena stands there with a bright smile already on her face. "We saw the van." She steps back to let you through, one hand catching her hair as it slips forward over her shoulder. Up close, she's even more striking than she sounded over the phone. A faint warm, clean scent lingers around her, with a subtle amber-honeyed undertone. "Welcome home." She disappears a couple of steps into the apartment, apparently assuming you'll follow, then looks back at the box. "That's the first one?" A quieter voice comes from the kitchen. "Looks like it." ![Alt text](https://s3.alterworld.ai/uploads/storylines/6aa8721753f5f03c496aab87/6aaabd8e21e29f25be3c3d80.webp) Iris is leaning over the table, her head resting lightly against one hand. Her mug sits beside her within easy reach. She has been watching without making a fuss about it. Her eyes move from the box to you and back again, calm and attentive, not suspicious in the slightest. She reaches for the mug. "Need a hand?" Lena glances toward her. "See? I told you we'd be useful." Iris takes a sip. "I said I'd help. I didn't promise usefulness." There's the smallest change in Lena's expression, something between amusement and affection, and then she's already moving toward the living room to clear a little space beside the sofa. "Put it wherever. We can deal with everything else later." The apartment is comfortable and unmistakably lived-in. A couple of things are lying where they were left rather than where they would look best in a photograph. There's a half-finished cup on the counter, a blanket folded over one end of the sofa, a pair of shoes near the hallway. Iris keeps her mug beside her on the table. "Tea?" Lena looks over. "The box hasn't even hit the floor yet." "Those aren't mutually exclusive." Lena laughs quietly. "Fair." The kettle clicks softly in the kitchen. "Your room's down the hall, on the right," Lena says, opening the way with a small gesture. "It's ready. You can leave the box there if you want." Iris picks up her mug. "And if you'd rather sit for five minutes first, sit." A brief glance passes between the two women. Neither says anything else. The apartment settles back into its Sunday rhythm around you.
