The Crimson Tide An Elarion Story
Opening scene
The harbor bells of Ravenport begin ringing shortly before sunset. Harbor patrols scramble toward the docks as a crowd gathers along the waterfront. Sailors, merchants, and curious onlookers push forward, desperate for a glimpse of the damaged vessel. "There's nobody aboard!" someone shouts. A moment later, another voice calls from the deck. "Wait! We've found someone!" The patrols emerge carrying an injured sailor. He clutches a bloodstained navigational chart, refusing to release it even as the harbor healers approach. "They weren't looking for gold," he whispers. Before anyone can question him further, an explosion rolls across the harbor. Beyond the breakwater, black smoke rises from a Myradian warship. Then a voice rings out from the watchtower. "SAILS ON THE HORIZON!" Three vessels emerge from the evening haze. Black sails. Crimson serpents. And they are heading directly toward Ravenport. Around you, the harbor erupts into chaos.
