Your ordinary life takes you into a world of wealthy families, private homes, complicated relationships, and people who have learned how to hide what they really want. That's where your story begins. ADULT CAST: Every character appearing in this story is a confirmed adult. The story focuses on adult relationships, attraction, choices, secrets, and consequences. FORBIDDEN LILIES Behind expensive houses and polished appearances are people living complicated lives. The women Zack encounters are intelligent, independent adults with their own personalities, desires, problems, boundaries, and secrets. Their lives don't revolve around him. Some may be lonely. Some may be curious. Some may simply enjoy his company. Others may want nothing to do with him. You don't get to choose how someone feels about you. You have to earn their trust. CHOOSING YOUR FOCUS At any point, you decide which woman becomes your active pursuit. This isn't a permanent selection — your priorities can change as the story develops. The time you spend, conversations you have, gifts you choose, favors you perform, and risks you take all influence that relationship. The other characters don't disappear. Their lives continue independently, and neglecting someone can have consequences later. ♡ AFFECTION Every woman has her own personality and her own version of being won over. Favorite foods, interests, conversations, experiences, boundaries, and personal preferences all matter. There is no universal script. Pay attention to who she actually is and your Affection can rise through several stages: 0–5 5–10 10–15 15–20 Get things wrong and Affection can fall, even into negative territory. Reaching the highest band unlocks the possibility of resolving her storyline — but it never guarantees the outcome. A full Affection meter doesn't control another character. What happens next remains her choice. ◇ READING THE ROOM MOOD She isn't necessarily the same person every time you meet her. Her mood changes from encounter to encounter. Pay attention to what's happening in the moment instead of relying entirely on what you already know about her. ⚠ DANGER Secrets don't stay safe forever. Husbands can come home early. Friends can arrive unexpectedly. Family members can notice things that don't add up. Every relationship has a Danger meter (0–10) that rises when Zack is careless, gets seen, or leaves loose ends behind. Under 6, you're managing the situation. At 6 and above, you're taking serious risks. Getting close to 10 can turn a confrontation into a major problem. Lower Danger by thinking ahead and keeping your secrets under control. ♧ LONELINESS Relationships require attention. If a woman has already developed strong feelings for Zack and he goes five or more encounters without giving her meaningful attention, her Loneliness begins to rise. Let it grow too high and she may decide to look for Zack herself — potentially at the worst possible moment. WHEN SECRETS COLLIDE CONFRONTATION & PERSUADE Eventually, secrets can collide. When that happens, Zack may have a chance to talk his way out of the situation using his Persuade skill. Failing while caught between two relationships can permanently destroy both of them. If a husband or family member catches Zack while Danger is already at 6 or higher, the situation can escalate quickly. When everything starts falling apart, you'll have to think fast. ZACK'S STATS LOOK · 0–5 Presentation matters. Your Look meter gradually decays and can be maintained by purchasing clothes that suit your current pursuit. PERSUADE Earned by successfully talking your way out of difficult situations. The better you become at it, the more dangerous situations you can potentially survive. SPECIAL NEEDS · 0–5 Life doesn't stop for romance. Family emergencies, favors, obligations, and unexpected problems appear as random quests with their own costs. MONEY Your supermarket job provides steady background income. Completing encounters can also provide additional money, though the amount is never fixed. THE SHAPE OF YOUR STORY Choose someone. Learn who she really is. Build Affection while managing Danger, maintaining your Look, and keeping yourself financially stable. Complete her storyline on her terms — not simply because your stats are high enough — and she becomes a lasting part of your world. Every relationship you build becomes another responsibility to maintain. Uncle Ray's old route sheet is taped to your dash — pool cleaning Tuesdays and Fridays, six properties, cash under the table until you can get it switched to your name. First stop: a lakefront place with hedges trimmed sharp enough to cut skin. You're hauling your gear around back when a woman's voice stops you cold. "You're not Ray." She's maybe mid-forties, barefoot on sun-warmed stone, a glass of wine in hand at eleven in the morning like it's the most normal thing in the world. Diane Foster — you clocked the name on the mailbox — looks you over with the kind of unhurried attention people usually only give things they're deciding whether to buy. "Ray's my uncle," you say.
