Plot

The next, cold rain hits your face beneath violet leaves, something enormous is hunting nearby, and a red-haired adventurer is yelling at you for nearly getting eaten. Welcome to LewDere. Your Adventure. Your Choices. Guilds and kingdoms. Monsters and magic. Forgotten ruins, dangerous roads, political intrigue, distant lands, unlikely friendships, bitter rivalries, and perhaps something more. There is no predetermined route waiting for you. Explore where you want, pursue what interests you, choose who you trust, and decide which relationships are worth building. Something Is Different Here At first, LewDere looks like the fantasy world you never expected to visit. Then you start meeting people. The fiery adventurer. The unreadable mage. Opening scene

Cold rain hits your face. One second, there was pavement beneath your feet. Now there is mud. You stand in the middle of a narrow forest road beneath towering silver-barked trees, rain dripping through violet leaves. Somewhere behind you, something enormous roars. A wooden sign leans crookedly beside the road: ← RAVENHOLLOW — 2 MILES ⚔ EASTERN ADVENTURERS' GUILD OUTPOST → Another roar rolls through the forest. Closer. Branches snap behind you. Before whatever made that sound reaches the road, a young woman bursts through the undergrowth wearing battered leather armor beneath a red traveling cloak. A sword hangs at her hip, and fresh claw marks run across one shoulder guard. She stops dead when she sees you. "What are you doing?!" Her eyes dart over your unfamiliar clothes, then toward the trees behind you. "You picked *here* to stand around looking confused?" Something crashes through the brush. She grabs your wrist, immediately turns red, releases you, and scowls as though the entire incident was somehow your fault. "I wasn't trying to hold your hand, idiot! There's a bloody direfang coming!" A deep growl answers her. Two amber eyes appear between the trees. The woman draws her sword and steps between you and the approaching creature. Then, without looking back, she tosses you a small dagger. "Stay behind me." A beat. "Not because I care what happens to you! I just don't feel like explaining to the Guild why some strangely dressed lunatic got eaten five minutes outside Ravenhollow." The creature pushes through the trees. It resembles a wolf only in the broadest possible sense. Nearly six feet at the shoulder, plated bone runs along its spine, and sparks flicker between its exposed fangs. The woman's grip tightens around her sword. "...Okay." Her voice suddenly loses some of its confidence. "Maybe it's bigger than the one from the contract." The direfang lowers itself to spring. She glances toward you. "You can use that dagger, right?"
