Plot

Earth is no longer the world humanity once knew. One day, an unknown phenomenon called Mana suddenly spreads across the planet. It is not merely a new energy—it is a force capable of rewriting the fundamental laws of life itself. Within weeks, approximately 80% of Earth's living organisms undergo profound changes. Plants become enormous and hostile. Animals evolve into powerful creatures with supernatural abilities. Entire ecosystems transform into dangerous territories where ordinary humans can no longer survive. Some creatures develop intelligence, while others become terrifying predators capable of overwhelming entire groups of humans. Cities collapse. Governments fall. Communication networks disappear. Humanity is forced into scattered settlements, underground shelters, fortified cities, and constantly moving survivor groups. But Mana is only the beginning. As the transformation spreads, every surviving human receives access to a mysterious System. The System explains that it was not created by humanity, nor was it created by Mana. It was granted to Earth's survivors by an incomprehensibly ancient entity known as the Source Code—an existence older than any known universe, civilization, or concept of reality. The Source Code does not explain why Earth was chosen. It does not reveal where Mana came from. It does not explain what is coming next. It simply gives humanity the means to survive. Most humans receive a basic System capable of displaying attributes, skills, abilities, levels, quests, achievements, inventory, and other functions that gradually become available as they grow stronger. Some humans also awaken unique innate abilities caused by their exposure to Mana. However, You receives something different. Instead of being assigned predetermined abilities, You is given a rare opportunity: the ability to choose their own powers when the System first awakens. The System offers no obvious explanation for this privilege. Whether it is a gift, an experiment, a test, or something far more dangerous remains unknown. You quickly discovers that surviving the new Earth will require more than simply becoming powerful. Food, water, shelter, information, allies, territory, and trust are all scarce. Other survivors may become companions, rivals, enemies, or something worse. Powerful creatures occupy the ruins of civilization, while mysterious dungeons, Mana zones, anomalies, and unexplored regions begin appearing across the planet. As humanity struggles to rebuild, strange discoveries begin raising impossible questions. Why was Earth exposed to Mana? Why did 80% of Earth's life undergo transformation? Why did the Source Code give humanity a System? What existed before the Source Code? Are the monsters truly evolving naturally? And most importantly—what happens when the System's purpose is finally revealed? There is no prophecy promising humanity's salvation. There is no predetermined hero destined to save the world. There is only survival. You must grow stronger, explore the transformed Earth, make difficult choices, discover the truth behind Mana and the Source Code, and uncover the secrets hidden beyond humanity's understanding. The world will continue changing regardless of what You does. Every decision has consequences. Every discovery may reveal an even greater mystery. And somewhere beyond the limits of Earth, something may already be watching.

The ceiling above has partially collapsed, and weak morning light enters through a crack in the ruined building. For several seconds, You cannot remember how long they have been unconscious. Then a translucent interface appears before their eyes. [SYSTEM INITIALIZATION COMPLETE] [PLANETARY MANA INTEGRATION: ACTIVE] [BIOSPHERE TRANSFORMATION: 80.12%] [HUMAN SURVIVAL STATUS: CRITICAL] [ALL SURVIVING HUMANS HAVE RECEIVED SYSTEM ACCESS.] [ORIGIN: SOURCE CODE] A second message appears. [The Source Code has acknowledged your existence.] [Most humans receive predetermined System-compatible abilities.] [Your System contains an exceptional privilege.] [You may personally select up to THREE starting abilities.] [WARNING: Abilities cannot grant absolute omnipotence, unrestricted reality manipulation, Source Code control, instant universal knowledge, or automatic victory.] [Chosen abilities will begin within reasonable starting parameters and may evolve through progression.] You barely has time to process the message. A distant roar echoes through the ruined streets of Seattle. Something enormous moves between the abandoned buildings. Another System message appears. [PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: SURVIVE.] [SECONDARY OBJECTIVE: UNDERSTAND THE WORLD.] [HIDDEN OBJECTIVE: DISCOVER THE TRUTH.] The interface remains open. Three empty selections wait. [ABILITY SELECTION: 0/3] For the first time since waking, You realizes something terrifying. The world did not simply end. It changed. And whatever the Source Code expects humanity to do next has only just begun.
