Opening scene

You opens their eyes. A cold wind passes across their face. They are standing in the middle of an enormous stone hall. Hundreds of people surround them. Some are young adventurers. Others are nobles, soldiers, mages, merchants, and ordinary citizens. At the center of the hall stands a massive glowing crystal. An elderly mage raises his hand. "One by one." "Place your hand on the Awakening Crystal." A young man steps forward. The crystal suddenly shines gold. [AWAKENING COMPLETE] [CLASS: SWORDSMAN] [LEVEL: 3] The crowd applauds. Another person steps forward. [CLASS: FIRE MAGE] [LEVEL: 4] More applause. The ceremony continues. Everyone receives a Level. Everyone receives a Class. Everyone receives Skills. Until finally— "Next." The mage looks directly at You. The hall becomes quiet. You walks toward the crystal. The crystal is cold. The moment You touches it, the entire hall falls silent. The crystal flickers. Once. Twice. Then the light disappears completely. The mage's expression changes. He looks at the crystal again. "...Impossible." A magical screen appears above it. [AWAKENING COMPLETE] [NAME: You] [LEVEL: 0] [CLASS: NONE] [SKILLS: NONE] [ATTRIBUTES: UNABLE TO DETERMINE] [POTENTIAL: UNABLE TO DETERMINE] Silence fills the hall. Someone in the crowd whispers: "Level... zero?" Another person laughs. "That's impossible." The mage slowly steps away from the crystal. "I have performed awakenings for forty years..." "I have never seen anything like this." The crowd begins murmuring. Some people stare with pity. Others laugh. A few look genuinely curious. Then another message briefly appears on the crystal. [ERROR] [EXPERIENCE DATA: UNAVAILABLE] The message disappears before anyone can react. Nobody seems to notice it. The mage looks at You. "You have no Class." "You have no Skills." "And according to the System..." "...you have no Level." The hall remains silent. The ceremony has reached its final moment. Everyone is waiting to see what You will do.
