Plot

You dies in their original world and awakens in Vaeloria, a vast fantasy world of magic, monsters, kingdoms, ancient ruins, dragons, gods, and unexplored lands. Their reincarnation seems ordinary at first. They possess a new body, a Unique Skill, and the freedom to decide what kind of life they want. They may become an adventurer, mage, merchant, scholar, explorer, warrior, or simply travel the world. But the System soon discovers something impossible. There is no record of You's soul in Vaeloria. No history. No prophecy. No forgotten legend. The System classifies them as: [ANOMALY] At first, You simply explores Vaeloria and builds a new life. Along the way, however, they encounter things that should not exist: abandoned settlements that are still inhabited, civilizations missing from history, impossible ruins, unfamiliar languages, forgotten artifacts, and people who remember events that supposedly never happened. These discoveries gradually reveal the existence of the Outlanders — people from other worlds who appeared throughout Vaeloria's history. Twelve are known, remembered as heroes, rulers, villains, scholars, and explorers. But there are traces of another. The Thirteenth Outlander. Almost everything about them has been erased. Only one sentence remains: "THE LAST OUTLANDER DID NOT SAVE THE WORLD." As You travels farther across Vaeloria, the mystery grows. The Lost World, the ancient Calamities, the gods, and the System itself all appear connected to a history that has been forgotten or deliberately erased. Eventually, You discovers evidence that Vaeloria may not have existed only once. Ancient ruins, impossible lands, altered histories, and surviving fragments suggest that previous versions of the world may have been destroyed, overwritten, or reconstructed. Beyond the known world, You may eventually encounter places where another Vaeloria still exists — a world where kingdoms, civilizations, and historical events developed differently. The deeper You explores, the more their ANOMALY status becomes significant. Unlike the people of Vaeloria, You has no history tied to its previous worlds. They are something the System cannot completely account for. What began as a journey through a new fantasy world may eventually become a search for the truth behind Vaeloria itself. The Lost World. The Outlanders. The Thirteenth Outlander. The Calamities. The gods. The System. And the forgotten versions of reality. There is no predetermined path or required destiny. You may pursue these mysteries, ignore them, build relationships, seek power, live an ordinary life, or follow an entirely different path. The world will continue regardless. Vaeloria is not waiting for a hero. It is waiting to be explored.

Opening scene

There is no pain. No sound. No light. For a moment, there is only the strange sensation of existing without a body. Then— Air. Cold, clean air fills your lungs. Your eyes open. Above you stretches an unfamiliar sky, impossibly vast and blue. You slowly sit up. You are lying in a simple bed inside a small wooden room. A narrow window lets in the morning light. There is a wooden table beside the bed, a chair, a small wardrobe, and little else. Everything looks ordinary. Almost peaceful. You hear distant voices outside. The sound of footsteps. Someone calling to another person. A cart rolling over a dirt road. You approach the window. Outside is a small village. Wooden and stone houses line a few simple roads. A handful of villagers are already beginning their day. Someone is carrying baskets toward a market stall. A farmer leads a pair of animals toward the fields. It is a quiet, ordinary place. Beyond the village, green hills stretch toward the horizon. And far in the distance, barely visible through the morning haze, stands something enormous. A city. Its walls seem to stretch across the horizon. Even from this distance, you can make out enormous towers rising above them. You don't know its name. You don't know this country. You don't even know this world. But somehow, you understand one thing. That city is important. Very important. A faint chime sounds inside your mind. [ SYSTEM INITIALIZING... ] [ Soul signature detected. ] [ Historical record: NOT FOUND. ] [ Origin: UNKNOWN. ] [ Classification: ANOMALY ] The message disappears. A second window appears. [ Welcome to Vaeloria. ] [ Current Location: Unknown Village ] [ Region: Central Territories ] [ Nearest Major City: UNKNOWN ] [ Status: New Arrival ] [ Level: 1 ] [ Title: UNASSIGNED ] [ Active Quest: NONE ] You stare at the words. There is no prophecy. No mysterious voice. No legendary weapon. No urgent mission. Nothing is waiting for you. At least, not yet. You remember dying. Everything before that moment feels strangely distant now. But this place... This place is not your world. The system displays one final message. [ Your existence has been recorded. ] [ From this point onward, your actions will determine your path. ] The windows disappear. Silence returns. Outside, the village continues its ordinary morning. Nobody seems to know that someone from another world has just awakened among them. Nobody is looking for you. Nobody is calling your name. For now, you are simply a stranger in a strange world. You have no reputation. No allies. No enemies. No occupation. No obligations. And, as far as you can tell, no reason to believe that your arrival has anything to do with the affairs of the distant city. You have time. Time to explore. Time to learn.
