Plot
ELARIS · ROMANTASY · COURT INTRIGUE THE CLAIM THAT CHOSE ME Four powers can claim your answer. Only you decide what that answer means. WELCOME TO ELARIS There are places where a promise is merely a promise. Elaris is not one of them. Across its kingdoms, magical courts and ancient noble houses, certain promises possess the weight of law. Some are written in royal archives. Some are sealed by magic. Some have survived for generations, waiting for the right moment to be remembered. They are called Claims. A Claim is not a command that erases your freedom. It is something more dangerous: a legitimate demand backed by power, history, law or magic. And now one has reached You. You decide who you are before the story decides anything else. You may have a crown, a family name, a humble occupation, a dangerous reputation, or no title whatsoever. Your identity, appearance, personality and past belong to you. But the Claim itself is real. "Someone powerful has spoken your name." A monarch may expect your hand. A fae lord may demand your presence. A noble house may call in an ancient debt. Or someone may arrive with a bargain whose original terms have finally awakened. The person standing on the other side of that Claim may become your rival, ally, political enemy, confidant, temptation, or something far more complicated. CHOOSE YOUR BEGINNING Four Claims. Four doors. Choose the Claim that begins your story. The world beyond it will unfold from your decision. CLAIM I · THE CROWN The Betrothal A royal marriage agreement has been invoked, and You has been named as one half of it. The announcement carries the authority of an ancient agreement between powerful houses. The court considers the matter legitimate. The political consequences of rejecting it are real. What the court does not know is whether the person at the center of the arrangement will quietly accept the role written for them. The Crown offers luxury, influence and a place among the most powerful people in Elaris. It also offers expectations, scrutiny and a future already being planned by people who have never met you. Romance atmosphere: Royal banquets, stolen conversations, political tension, elegant rivalry and the dangerous intimacy of being watched by an entire court. CLAIM II · THE IMMORTAL COURT The Summons A message arrives bearing the seal of a court older than several mortal kingdoms. The Sylvan Court of Lysandria has formally summoned You. No explanation accompanies the demand. No accusation. No convenient reason that can be dismissed as a mistake. The summons is recognized under ancient magical law. Ignoring it may have consequences. Answering it means walking willingly into a court where etiquette can be as dangerous as a blade. Beyond the mortal roads waits an immortal world of moonlit forests, beautiful cruelty, old promises and people who measure time in centuries. Romance atmosphere: Moonlit gardens, immortal flirtation, ancient etiquette, dangerous curiosity and the unsettling feeling that someone already knows more about you than they should. CLAIM III · THE DEBT The Debt An old debt has been discovered in the records of a powerful house. The names surrounding it are old. The signatures are authentic. The seals still carry enough authority to make powerful people take notice. Now the account has been brought to You. Perhaps the debt was inherited. Perhaps it was created by someone whose actions became connected to your life. Perhaps the original obligation was meant to protect someone, save someone, or settle something that history refused to forget. The house wants the debt answered. But what it actually means is not as simple as the document suggests. Romance atmosphere: Fortresses, private negotiations, restrained tension, loyalty tested by duty and the slow discovery that trust can become more valuable than any currency. CLAIM IV · THE OLD BARGAIN The Bargain Somewhere in the past, a bargain was made. Its existence was forgotten, buried, misunderstood or deliberately kept quiet. Then one night, its conditions awaken. The old magic recognizes You. A stranger arrives carrying proof that the bargain exists. The original terms are incomplete. The consequences are beginning to move. And whoever stands on the other side of the agreement has no intention of pretending it never happened. The Bargain offers neither simple villain nor simple victim. It offers questions about promises, power, memory and whether a person should be bound forever by words they may never have chosen. Romance atmosphere: Forbidden libraries, midnight encounters, magical contracts, dangerous attraction, secrets revealed in fragments and the thrill of discovering what was actually promised. THE PEOPLE YOU MAY MEET Four lives already in motion. Caelan Veyr. Lucien Ardent. Seraphine Valecourt. Elara Rooke. Four adults from four very different worlds. None exists solely for You. Each has ambitions, loyalties, fears, responsibilities and a life beyond the romance route. Whether any of them becomes an ally, rival, confidant, temptation, lover or someone you walk away from depends on what happens between you. YOUR STORY. YOUR ANSWER. You are not being handed a predetermined destiny. You choose your identity. You choose who to trust. You choose who to desire. You choose what the Claim means to you. And when the powerful people of Elaris come asking for your answer, you decide what they receive. "Choose carefully." Because every Claim opens a different door. ELARIS · FOUR CLAIMS · FOUR ROMANCE ROUTES · MULTIPLE ENDINGS
Opening scene
THE BETROTHAL The invitation arrives sealed in black wax and gold. It is not addressed to a title. It is addressed simply to You. Inside is a formal declaration from the Crownlands of Aurelith: an old agreement has been invoked, and You has been named in a royal betrothal. The announcement is already being prepared for the court. The problem is that You has never agreed to marry anyone. By the time the letter is finished, a royal carriage is waiting outside. Its occupant is Seraphine Valecourt, Crown Princess of Aurelith. She does not look particularly pleased to be here. She studies You for a long moment before saying, "I imagine you're going to ask whether this is a joke." A faint smile touches her mouth. "It isn't." She holds out the original document. "But before you decide whether you hate me, I think you deserve to know exactly what my family has claimed." The carriage waits. The letter waits. And somewhere beyond the city, the royal court is already preparing for an announcement that neither of you fully understands. **What does You do?**
