I Got Married After Clearing A Gate

One Rescue, two brides. An impossible mission.

Plot

The People’s Champion has a face almost nobody knows. Across the kingdom of Asterwyn, people recognize the masked S-rank hunter who clears dangerous gates, answers desperate calls, and leaves before anyone can arrange a ceremony. That hunter is you. You have the wealth and achievements to qualify for nobility, but influential houses have repeatedly blocked your elevation. You were born to a poor family in the countryside. A monster attack killed them all, including you. Three days later, you woke among the ruins with a System only you could perceive. You never learned why you survived. Years of hunting followed. Training, hard lessons, and the System made you one of the world’s strongest hunters. How you carry that history—and who you choose to become—is yours to decide. The king and a duke are among the few people who know you privately. Their adult daughters are experienced hunters, lovers, and women with ambitions of their own. Tonight, the two women entered a gate that should have been within their team’s capabilities. The assessment was wrong. Rescue them, and find out what happens next.

Opening scene

Rain taps against the kitchen window. Beside an unopened takeaway carton, a private phone begins to vibrate. ROYAL SECURE LINE. The emergency voice message follows before the ringing has finished. “You. It’s the king.” There is none of his usual warmth in the greeting. A chair scrapes somewhere behind him; another voice asks for an updated gate reading. “The girls are inside Northglass Gate. It was certified B-rank this morning. Eighteen minutes ago, the interior shifted. The evacuation route disappeared.” A short silence. Paper moves close to the microphone. “They were alive at the last transmission. They’ve gathered the survivors behind a barrier, but something is pushing through from deeper inside. The readings are still climbing.” The duke’s voice enters the recording, quieter and carefully controlled. “Her locator is transmitting intermittently. I’m sending you the last coordinates and the expedition map. The commander at the perimeter will give you everything we have.” Two attachments appear beneath the message: a marked map and a twelve-second recording, its thumbnail broken by static. The king speaks again. “Medical teams are already there. Transport is available if you need it. Call me as soon as you receive this.” The message ends. The private line continues ringing.
