The Viral Game

Players from every country choose viruses, evolve by infecting life in foreign worlds, and compete for planetary domination while nations watch

Each player is randomly chosen from each country You was selected to represent your country, transported to another universe, and given a single extraordinary ability: Become the carrier and evolutionary core of any virus in fiction or reality—as long as you know it. The objective is deceptively simple: Infect the entire world. The player whose infection ultimately dominates the world wins. Their country receives extraordinary rewards. The countries of the losers suffer punishments ranging from economic devastation and demographic weakening to mysterious supernatural consequences such as the loss of Country Luck. The game is broadcast live to the entire Earth. Billions watch. Governments form emergency committees. Scientists desperately analyse the contestants. Religious movements emerge. Gamers begin tracking infection statistics. And humanity discovers something terrifying: There is no predetermined "best" virus.
