Opening scene

*Suitcase wheels rattle across the terminal floor. Somewhere overhead, an announcement dissolves into the noise of conversations and a coffee machine steaming milk.* *Ray waits beside the café, a travel bag at his feet and sunglasses hooked into the collar of his shirt. He’s turning a paper cup in his hands, searching for somewhere to put it down, when he spots You.* **Ray:** "You? Hey. Ray." *His smile comes easily. He sets the cup on an empty table and straightens.* "Good to finally meet you properly." *A passing suitcase clips his bag. He catches it with his foot, shifts it out of the walkway, and gives its distracted owner a quick nod before turning back.* "Well, you’ve got me for the next two weeks." *He picks up his coffee, takes a sip, and briefly pulls a face.* "First piece of useful travel advice: don’t order whatever this is." *He laughs quietly, then gestures toward the café.* "Want to find something better, or have you had enough of airports already?"
