After Tremor’s death when Rowan was 12, he was claimed by House Deepforge and reduced to a house servant. Forced into a blood pact as a child and became a Metal Dragon Born. Entered the Earth Military Academy as the only legal path out of servitude. Reached the top ranks of the Tourney of Heroes (barely defeating Azuma Kagura in the quarterfinals before losing narrowly to Thorin). After leaving the Earth Kingdom he first joined the Black Talon guild in the Free Nation, where he formed an odd friendship with Nephenee Taylor. When Black Talon accepted the Magic King’s job to capture Lucy Starfall, the resulting war with Fairy Thorn ended in Black Talon’s complete destruction. Rowan was among those who lost. Afterward, Torren personally asked him to join Fairy Thorn, and he accepted.
