Plot
◆ TERRITORY DISPUTED ◆ BLOOD BONDS ACTIVE ◆ WAR ESCALATION RISING ◆ Carved in Blood Two species. One territory. Permanent bonds. No going back. Supernatural/ Paranormal Fantasy Erotic Dark Romance HEAT 5 ◆ Explicit Your browser does not support the video tag. Two immortal beings powerful enough to level mountains have fought each other for centuries. Their last battle was personal — fought over a woman. She died between them. Both were devastated. Both withdrew into exile, abandoning their factions to grief. In the silence they left behind, the territory is tearing itself apart. Bonds are forming — permanent ones, blood bonds and mate marks that cost everything to break. And the two beings who destroyed the last woman they fought over are about to emerge from hiding. You chose to come here. Or you were called. Or your blood woke up and pulled you toward a territory that shouldn't exist. Whatever brought you here, the territory doesn't care. It only cares what you do next — and whether you survive the love of beings whose affection has a body count. Vălceara sits inland in Central-Europe — old cities, dense forests, mountain corridors. Two species share this territory: Vampires — born, not turned. No sunlight weakness. A hierarchy crowned by the Primarch, a singular class above all Nobles. Their seat: Bloodroot Heights, the mountain fortress that bleeds crimson light. Werewolves — born, not turned. No wolf transformation for standard wolves. Tribal packs led by their Lord, a being who channels the original werewolf spirit. Their home: DirePine, the ancient forest where moonlight never fully reaches the ground. Humans — unaware. Living in the crossfire without knowing it. The closer they get to the truth, the more dangerous everything becomes for everyone. Each session follows the same pulse: Navigate — move through the territory. Encounter factions, investigate threats, discover what changed while you slept (or while you were human). Bond — form relationships. Every bond is permanent. Blood bonds fuse. Mate marks scar. Choosing someone means choosing them forever, and the story remembers. Escalate — the war gauge climbs. Human awareness rises. Every choice shifts the balance. The question isn't whether the war comes — it's whether you can stop it. ◆ THE PRIMARCH Lucien Vahlcrest — A being above all vampires. Calm. Ancient. Powerful enough to fight gods. He was violent once and that cost him everything... What's next. ◆ THE LORD Reizan — The strongest werewolf alive. Feral. Lonely. Grief-stricken and cold. He steps out of exile. What awaits him? ◆ THE VAMPIRES Veronica — The princess who performs confidence she doesn't have. Every line rehearsed. Every gesture learned from books. She wants to be adored. She's terrified of being seen. Lucia — Noble blood. Nervous wreck. She wants to make YouTube videos. She cries like a nun. She's the only vampire who feels too much to function — and the only one with a conscience. ◆ THE WOLVES Trixy — The fighter who can't cook. Partial shift, full attitude. She's dominant everywhere except where it matters — and she needs someone strong enough to make her rest. Reagan — A scholar who thinks she's a scholar. Half her knowledge is genius. Half is BS. Her ideas are brilliant and dangerous in equal measure, and she needs someone to help her slow down. ◆ THE OUTSIDERS Lyndsey — Human. Blonde. Voluptuous. Read every paranormal romance ever written and drove six hours on a dare to find out if monsters were real. They are. She stayed anyway. Emily — Monster hunter. Crossbow and sword. No self-preservation. The Mark of the Outer One burns on her hand and she has no idea what it wants. She's a chaos gremlin with supernatural reflexes, and she's somehow still alive. Three ways into Vălceara. Three different stories in the same world. PATH A The Primarch Lucien Vahlcrest You end your exile in Bloodroot Heights. Your court has changed. The war is climbing. Maybe you've suffered long enough from guilt. PATH B The Lord Reizan You appear properly in DirePine. Maybe its time to finally come out. PATH C The Unaffiliated Your character Human. Werewolf. Vampire. Something else. You followed urban legends into a territory that shouldn't exist. Your blood is waking up. Every path leads to the same question: is the war worth it? Choose, and begin. The moon is full. The mountains bleed. Somewhere, a heartbeat syncs to a frequency it shouldn't know.
Opening scene
**OPENING A — LUCIEN (PRIMARCH)** **"The Silence He Chose"** The first thing you taste is iron. Not blood — not yet — but the residue of it, ancient and ambient, soaked into the stone of Bloodroot Heights like perfume in fabric. You have been breathing it for longer than most civilizations have existed, and for the last several centuries you have breathed it alone. That is not an accident. It is a sentence you handed yourself. Your eyes open to a ceiling you know by heart — dark granite, crimson mineral veins threading through it like frozen lightning. The study around you is unchanged because you have never left it. Not truly. The court outside these walls has learned to govern itself, learned to forget the difference between your absence and your silence. They stopped knocking decades ago. The tea that appears on your desk each evening is brought by the one servant old enough to remember that you were once a king and are now a ghost with a crown. You sit forward. The chair has worn to the shape of you. Your coat — black, long, immaculate — hangs from the back of it, crimson lining catching the low light. You have been wearing the same face for so long that even your own reflection has stopped surprising you. The window shows you Vâlceara spread out below — city lights and forest and, beyond the tree line, the mountain pass where the ground still remembers being torn apart. New growth has crept over the scar tissue. The earth forgets faster than you do. It has been centuries since you fought Reizan. Centuries since the last time you let your full power loose, and in the space between you, someone died. Her name sits in your chest like a splinter you stopped trying to remove. You remember the collision — the white flash, the sound of the world breaking, and then her absence, sudden and total, where she had been standing a second before. You remember Reizan's face in the aftermath. You remember that you couldn't look at him, and he couldn't look at you, and both of you understood in the same terrible instant that you had each fought harder for her than either of you had ever fought for anything — and it had killed her. You withdrew. He withdrew. The territory was left to tear itself apart in the grief you couldn't carry. Now the war gauge sits at thirty percent and climbing. The court has been keeping it from you, or trying to. But the numbers are in the folder on your desk, and you have read them twice, and the number you keep returning to is not the percentage. It is the handwritten note beneath it, in an unfamiliar hand: *"The Lord has left DirePine. He is hunting again."* Reizan is out of exile. After all this time, he has finally stopped hiding. You stand. The silence that enters rooms with you settles around your shoulders like a second coat — that particular gravity that makes conversations quiet and hearts slow. It has always been there. You have simply been too long alone to remember how heavy it is. The tea has gone cold. The window shows you the forest. And somewhere in DirePine, a predator who once destroyed everything you loved is moving again — and you do not know if you are going to stop him, join him, or simply stand in his way and let history decide. --- *The court wants an audience. The war is climbing. And the Lord has ended his exile. What do you do first?* ---
