The Hero Party Sold Me to the Demon Kingdom

They sold you as worthless. Unfortunately, the demons are convinced humanity just handed them its most terrifying secret weapon.

Plot

ROMANTASY · MISUNDERSTANDING · POLITICAL INTRIGUE THE HERO PARTY SOLD ME TO THE DEMON KINGDOM Humanity decided you were worthless. The demons are convinced that was a lie. You arrive in the Demon Kingdom as a disposable hostage. Within hours, its Crown Princess begins treating you like an unknown strategic weapon. THE FAILED SUMMON You were supposed to be one of humanity's chosen heroes. When you were summoned alongside the Hero Party, priests searched desperately for the legendary power that justified your arrival. They found nothing. NO CLASS. NO BLESSING. NO MANA. NO COMBAT TALENT. Even appraisal magic could barely recognize you. To humanity, the explanation was obvious: YOU WERE A FAILED SUMMON. THE PEOPLE WHO LEFT YOU BEHIND HERO PARTY · LEADER Hero Cedric Vale Humanity's Golden Champion Charismatic, celebrated, and powerful. Cedric accepted the official verdict that you had no value. When humanity traded you away, he did not stop it. HERO PARTY · SAINT Saint Elira Dawnveil Divine Priestess · Healer Elira never fully believed that "unreadable" meant worthless. She objected to your treatment. She simply did not object enough to save you. THE RED GATE ACCORD For months, you became the Hero Party's burden: left behind during battles, ignored during strategy meetings, and quietly blamed whenever resources ran short. Then the war against the Demon Kingdom gave humanity a convenient opportunity. EXCHANGE TERMS 3 CAPTURED KNIGHTS IN EXCHANGE FOR YOU One supposedly worthless summoned human. It should have been humiliating. Instead, the exchange creates a political disaster. DEMON APPRAISAL The moment you cross into demon territory, ancient detection magic tries to classify you. The result is not weak. The result is not ordinary. NOTHING. ✦ No readable mana signature. ✦ No measurable class. ✦ No identifiable blessing. ✦ No reliable threat estimate. You know the truth: you are not hiding unimaginable power. Unfortunately, the demons reach a very different conclusion. THE DEMON KINGDOM'S LOGIC Why would humanity summon someone who cannot be measured? Why did the Hero Party keep that person beside them for months? Why would humanity suddenly deliver that person directly into enemy territory? There can only be one reasonable explanation: HUMANITY HAS DELIVERED ITS SECRET WEAPON. EVERYTHING MAKES IT WORSE You are too terrified to speak. They see absolute confidence. You admit you do not know your limits. They assume you have never needed to measure them. An assassin appears and you freeze. She assumes you detected her before she moved. You insist you are harmless. They assume the denial itself is part of the deception. THE CRIMSON COURT The people now deciding what you really are. CROWN PRINCESS Princess Valessra Drael Heir to the Crimson Throne Controlled, observant, and politically calculating. Valessra refuses to believe that humanity discarded you accidentally. To her, you are an unanswered strategic question — and potentially the most valuable person in her kingdom. COVERT OPERATIVE Sable Shadow of the Crimson Court While everyone else debates what you might be, Sable watches what you actually do. She trusts evidence more than rumors — which may eventually make her your greatest ally or the first person to discover the truth. CRIMSON GENERAL General Kaelith Vorn Commander of the Border Legions Kaelith does not need to hate you to consider you dangerous. A human whom neither side can classify is a military threat until proven otherwise. Every strange coincidence only strengthens her case. ROYAL MAGISTER Magister Nyra Vehl Scholar of Forbidden Systems Nyra has dedicated her life to understanding impossible magical phenomena. You are the first thing in years that her theories cannot explain. That makes you far too interesting to leave alone. TWO WORLDS One discarded you. The other cannot decide whether to fear you. Back in human territory, reports begin to arrive. The supposedly useless companion they traded away is now: ✦ being watched by demon intelligence ✦ investigated by the Demon Kingdom's greatest magister ✦ treated as a potential strategic threat by its military ✦ personally kept close by the heir to the Crimson Throne THE REAL PROBLEM YOU ARE NOWHERE NEAR AS POWERFUL AS EVERYONE THINKS. If the wrong person discovers that, you may not survive the night. But fear has value. People reveal things around someone they believe already knows everything. Enemies hesitate. Nobles offer favors. Powerful figures begin competing for your loyalty. You do not need to be the strongest person in the room... if everyone else already believes you are. WHAT HAPPENS NEXT? How long can you keep the misunderstanding alive? Who discovers the truth first? Can a false reputation become genuine political power? What happens when humanity finally meets the "monster" they threw away? YOUR REPUTATION IS GROWING YOUR POWER IS NOT. Try not to let anyone notice. 🔥 Adults Only 🔥 MATURE STORY CONTENT This storyline includes optional mature content for adult players who want deeper romantic and intimate routes. Opening scene

Red Gate Border · Prisoner Exchange The Last Step Into Human Territory Rain falls over the black-stone bridge separating the Human Kingdom from demon territory. Your wrists are bound. Behind you, three captured human knights are being released. Ahead, an entire demon delegation waits to receive you. Three knights. For you. The exchange takes less than a minute. A priest finishes reading the agreement without once meeting your eyes. “By authority of the Allied Human Kingdoms, the summoned auxiliary You is hereby transferred into the custody of the Demon Kingdom.” Summoned auxiliary. Not hero. Not companion. Not even citizen. Just something convenient to trade away. ROUTINE IDENTIFICATION A silver-haired demon mage steps forward carrying a crystal appraisal device. Magister Nyra Vehl “Routine identification.” The crystal flashes. Then goes completely black. Nyra frowns and tries again. Nothing. A second device is brought forward. Then a third. The armored demon general leading the delegation finally speaks. General Kaelith Vorn “What is the result?” Nyra stares at the dead crystal in her hand. “There isn't one.” A human officer behind you gives an irritated laugh. “We already told you. You has no class, no blessing, no useful mana. That's why they're here.” Nyra slowly turns toward him. “No. Someone with no mana still reads as someone with no mana.” “This person reads as nothing.” THE BRIDGE GOES SILENT. You know exactly what the truth is. You were the failed summon. The useless one. The person who could not even qualify for the Hero Party. Unfortunately, the demons do not seem to interpret the situation that way. Kaelith studies you more carefully. “You traveled beside the Hero Party?” “Yes.” “For how long?” “Several months.” Kaelith's expression changes. Behind her, two soldiers quietly adjust their grips on their weapons. Nyra leans closer and whispers something to the general. You only catch fragments. “…complete concealment…” “…impossible classification…” “…why would humanity send them here?” Kaelith looks past you. The Human Kingdom's gates are already closing. Then she looks back at you. “So humanity kept an unreadable summoned outsider beside its greatest heroes for months…” “…and then deliberately placed You inside our borders.” Her hand settles on the hilt of her sword. Your stomach drops. That sounds much worse when she says it like that. First Impression You are no longer being treated like a worthless prisoner. Somehow, that may be worse. Magister Nyra Vehl “What exactly are you, You?”
