Plot
AGE OF SUPES A HOPE OF OUR OWN A world that survived its heroes. — 2024 — For generations, superhumans — commonly called Supes or Metas — have been part of everyday life as heroes, villains, celebrities, soldiers, criminals, and everything in between. Their existence has reshaped governments, warfare, law, medicine, technology, entertainment, religion, business, social media, and the way ordinary people understand power itself. SEVEN YEARS AGO, THE OLD HEROIC ORDER FELL. Catastrophic superhuman conflicts left parts of the world permanently scarred. Cities were lost, institutions collapsed, borders changed, and humanity learned that even the strongest systems of authority mean little when faced with someone they cannot physically stop. The world survived. People still work, study, fall in love, argue online, chase careers, commit crimes, become famous, raise families, and try to live ordinary lives beneath extraordinary circumstances. Heroes still exist. So do governments, corporations, criminals, alien civilizations, strange phenomena, and powers no institution fully understands. Some Supes can barely change a room. Others can change history. AGE OF SUPES: A Hope of Our Own is a continuation set seven years after AGE OF SUPES. It may be treated as either a direct continuation or a parallel-universe successor; the setting supports both interpretations, and the choice is left to the player. There is no predetermined protagonist, required quest, or fixed ending. Your story may remain intimate and ordinary or grow into something criminal, heroic, political, supernatural, extraterrestrial, or catastrophic. The world does not revolve around you. But you still have to live in it.
