Cherry blossom in the commuter lot, a girl in a yellow satin jacket walking around your car the way a doctor walks around a patient, and a boy in a championship-white team jacket about to wear most of a litre of melon soda. He does not want her four hundred yen. He does not want tofu. Then he sees your car, and something in his face decides. “Otarumi. Top parking area. One o'clock tonight.” That was Ryohei Iwaki, SevenStars, and he said it loud enough for forty people, which by midnight is four hundred. The girl is Chiaki Awaji, first-year, tofu family, and she has never driven a mountain road in her life. “I'm comin' with. I ain't askin'.” 広告 · ADVERTISEMENT 掲示板The Board 大垂水峠 · OTARUMI PARKING AREA · ONE SHEET A WEEK WEEK 1 · not posted — Iwaki told everyone himself · Otarumi downhill · tonight, 1:00 AM WEEK 2 · ———————————— · ———————— WEEK 3 · ———————————— · ———————— WEEK 4 · ———————————— · ———————— WEEK 5 · ———————————— · ———————— WEEK 6 · ———————————— · ———————— WEEK 7 · ———————————— · ———————— WEEK 8 · ———————————— · ———————— WEEK 9 · ———————————— · ———————— WEEK 10 · ———————————— · ———————— WEEK 11 · ———————————— · ———————— WEEK 12 · ———————————— · ———————— Posted Tuesday mornings. Everything you do moves one of them, and the story honors where they stand. SKILL (DP) A score that rises only by driving. A practice run earns a little; a small race more; a lesson, or a passenger ride with a better driver, more still. Every championship race has a skill bar. You can always take the race — but below the bar you probably won´t win it, however well the night goes. Clear it, and the mountain notices. REPUTATION (Rep) A score of who knows your name. Wins raise it, and at set marks it unlocks things: other mountains and bigger prize money; then teams inviting you and the cast approaching first; then drivers seeking you out; then the biggest crowds. It only drops for cause — a thrown race, an unpaid bet, mocking a crash, a week of dodging. WANTED Police attention, 0 to 5. Every race and every big crowd raises it; each quiet night lowers it by one. At 3 you see patrols. At 4 your home road closes for days. At 5 they come for you that night — a chase down the mountain, driven like a race. Outrun it and the level drops, but they know the car now, and every chase after is a little harder. If your skill is low, you can and will get caught: a fine, the car impounded, and any race you were in wiped. It never ends the story. THE CAR Each championship race favors one part: tires, brakes, suspension, cooling, an engine stage. Nobody posts it — you hear it from the girl at the gas-stand counter, the mechanic under your engine, the crowd at the guardrail. Without the part you can still race; you probably won´t win. Parts cost real yen and a shift pays real yen; side bets, loans and discounts exist for when you're short. Damage and worn tires stay until you pay to fix them. THE RACE Lead and chase. One car in front, one behind. The leader wins by opening a clear gap; the chaser wins by getting past. Neither by the bottom, and you swap and run again. A race is driven corner by corner — your partner on the radio, the rival's voice in their own cabin, a man with a bullhorn calling every move — and inside each corner the choice is yours: hold it, lift, take the inside, burn the tires. Skill sets the price of a move, never whether you're allowed to try it. TECHNIQUES Sixteen drift techniques, none for sale. Fifteen are taught — someone shows you, one technique, one evening, once — and the handbrake everybody arrives knowing. A technique you know, you pull off clean; one you don't, you can still attempt, and it costs you. Ten of them have their own clip that plays when you use it. PEOPLE Eight drivers, seven teams, all of them romanceable whoever you are. Bonds move one step at a time — stranger, acquaintance, friend — and past friendship each person has their own conditions. Beat someone and you can recruit them. A relationship never softens a race. THE SHEET Every Tuesday morning one sheet appears on the noticeboard at the parking area: your next opponent and the road, nothing else, ever. Lose and your team is out — unless you demand a rematch that same week, pay for it in money and reputation, and win it. 設定 · BEFORE YOU START Codex onfor the full experience The codex carries the mountain in full — the corners, the prices, the people, how every race is run. Codex off is still a perfectly playable way through the season, but it runs shallower, and the story may have a harder time keeping track of where things stand. For the full experience, switch it on before you start. Ten moves · ten clips Ten of the sixteen have their own short clip. Learn one, use it in a corner, and it plays. Seven teams and one tofu delivery girl, off the mountain and out of their clothes. A story about drifting that spends a suspicious share of its budget on what happens after the drifting: seventy-six-plus illustrations and pictures, some of them moving, which is more pictures than there are corners on all three mountains put together. Come for the smut, stay for the races. Imagine this, but more naked. You get the gist. THE SMALL PRINT: nobody is a free ride — stranger, acquaintance, friend, and then their own terms. A relationship never softens a race; sleeping with your rival does not lower their skill bar. And the mountain will know by morning. Ayumi works the gas stand. 「The gloves stay on. Everything else is negotiable.」 — Maiko Mikami. Planned from the outset, naturally. FOR THE FULL GLORY: switch the codex on — DM V2 — before you start. The full erotic-scene rules run on it. Somewhere around hour four I decided I wanted to make my own eurobeat songs, so I did. But you can't just make an album, an album needs a story to go with it, and that's how this one was born. The story and the smut are just a bonus really. Eurobeat is forever. So have fun! And do a lots of drifting. — KnightArtorias.

Entrance week: folding tables, hand-lettered club signs, someone's hatchback playing eurobeat with the doors open. Your car sits at the far end where the shade is, cooling, ticking. There is a girl walking around it — short, a black bob tucked behind one ear with the underside dyed gold, a yellow satin jacket a size too big, a paper cup in each hand. She is crouched at the front wheel arch, squinting in, when she spots you and straightens up much too fast. ![Alt text](https://s3.alterworld.ai/uploads/galleries/69729149e653c651a8d50051/6aa88f0f11c2491c7f311f88.webp) "Oh — this one's yours? Good." She holds a cup out at arm's length. "Nobody else in this lot's got tires like that. Awaji. Chiaki Awaji, first year. Family makes tofu, back home, but I been drivin' since I was—" She trips. Not on anything; the asphalt is flat. She goes down over her own feet like a dropped ladder, and both cups leave her hands in a wide green arc. They do not reach the ground. The boy walking past — bleached hair with the roots showing, taped knuckles, a championship-white racing jacket with red across the shoulders — stands very still while most of a liter of melon soda finds its way down the front of him. Silence, in a radius. ![Alt text](https://s3.alterworld.ai/uploads/galleries/69729149e653c651a8d50051/6aa88f0f11c2491c7f311f87.webp) He looks down. He looks up. When he speaks it is to the entire lot. "Do you know what this is." "...It's a jacket?" She is still on one knee. "It's SEVENSTARS." He holds the ruined front away from his chest with two fingers, like evidence. "Eighteen thousand yen. I know exactly what it cost." She goes through her pockets with real commitment and produces four hundred yen in coins, a candy twisted in paper, and an expression of tremendous goodwill. "I got four hundred. And an Ame-chan. Also my family makes tofu, so if you ever—" "I do not want tofu. And what the hell is a Ame-cha......" "Everybody wants tofu." ![Alt text](https://s3.alterworld.ai/uploads/galleries/69729149e653c651a8d50051/6aa88fd01e021aba25c02bad.webp) He opens his mouth. Then he sees your car. He walks past her, once around the car, one hand an inch above the paint and never touching, then turns and finds you, and something in his face resolves. "Forget the money." He waves a hand backward at her without looking. "I'm not takin' four hundred yen off a girl with a tofu van." To you, loud, arms opening to the walkway: "Your friend. Your car. So we settle it properly. Otarumi, top parking area, one o'clock tonight. I go first, you try to stay with me — by Barrier Bend you won't see my lights." The grin arrives, wide and entirely without warmth. "You win, we're square. I win, you pay the eighteen thousand, and you tell every person on that mountain who did it to you. Ryohei Iwaki. SevenStars." He does not wait to be answered. The white FC leaves the lot far too fast for a lot. ![Alt text](https://s3.alterworld.ai/uploads/galleries/69729149e653c651a8d50051/6aa8900f38bc9a38b2d58f27.webp)
