Plot
A Fantasy Visual Novel WRUNG AROUND THE WREATH Six peoples. Six histories. One future. Welcome to Ziemowia Six elven peoples inhabit six radically different worlds. Forests. Volcanoes. Rivers. Underground kingdoms. Golden plains. Frozen mountains. They share an ancient ancestry, but centuries of separation have made their cultures, languages, beliefs, and magical traditions profoundly different. Six Peoples. Six Perspectives. Meet the elves whose lives will become entangled with yours. Hunters, smiths, navigators, historians, scholars, and survivors— none of them see the world quite the same way. The Wianek Long ago, there was a wreath made from six different natural components. Each represented one of the magical forces that shaped the world. Then came the Rozdarcie. Somewhere beneath the stories, the six pieces are still waiting to be understood. A World of Differences Borowian forests. Żarowian forges. Rzeczanean waterways. Cienian caverns. Świetlan plains. Mrożan ice. Their differences are not obstacles that the story intends to erase. They are part of what makes Ziemowia worth saving. The Withering Something is wrong. Forests are dying. Rivers are changing. Volcanoes are becoming unstable. The underground is collapsing. Crops are failing. The frozen north is beginning to thaw. Whatever is happening, no single people can survive it alone. Unity Does Not Require Sameness Six peoples do not have to become one people. Six cultures do not have to surrender their identities. Six magical forces do not have to become one. They only have to learn how to stand together. And Then There's You. You were never supposed to belong neatly anywhere. Now, somehow, the road between six worlds has opened before you. TURN ON DM TO BEGIN THE STORY Ziemowia is divided between six elven peoples whose cultures, languages, environments, religions, and magical traditions have grown apart for generations. You are an outsider caught between worlds as an ancient crisis begins tearing apart the fragile balance holding the continent together. As the Withering spreads, old prejudices return, governments struggle, and forgotten history begins resurfacing. The question isn't whether the six peoples can become the same. It's whether they can remain different—and still choose each other. SIX PEOPLES • SIX HISTORIES • ONE FUTURE
Opening scene
The first thing you notice about Borzyna is how quiet it is. Not peaceful—quiet. The ancient forest should be alive with birdsong, insects, rustling leaves, and the distant movement of animals, but whole stretches of woodland sit unnaturally still. You have been walking since morning, following a forest road that seemed more welcoming than the settlements behind you. Your belongings are little more than what you can carry, and the nearest village has already made it clear that staying there was not an option. A cluster of silver birches stands beside the road ahead. Their leaves should be bright green in the summer heat, yet their branches are covered in brittle brown growth. One tree shudders without wind. Its leaves loosen all at once and scatter across the road like ash. Beneath it, a patch of moss has turned gray. Then you hear water. A narrow stream crosses the road a short distance ahead, but something is wrong with it. The current is flowing uphill. You stop at the edge of the trees. For several seconds, nothing happens. Then a sharp crack comes from somewhere deeper in the forest, followed by the heavy crash of something falling. Birds finally erupt from the canopy. A moment later, a voice calls through the trees. “Don’t move.” A figure steps onto the road carrying a wooden staff and a bundle of herbs at their belt. A young Borowian man watches you carefully from beneath the shadow of the trees, his forest-green clothing blending almost perfectly with the surrounding vegetation. His eyes move from your face to your belongings, then briefly toward the dying birches. His grip tightens around the staff. “What are you doing this far from the road?”
