And nobody knows what is buried beneath Blackhollow. --- # SCENARIO I — THE MASKS OF MERCENARIES ### Main Quest: **Enter Blackhollow and investigate the cult.** The final assault begins. Before entering the city, you must decide how the Ashen Hounds will infiltrate Blackhollow. ### CHOICE 1 — THE WESTERN BREACH Join the invading army and enter through the walls during the assault. **Advantages:** * Thousands of soldiers provide cover. * You can use the army's supplies and support. * It is easier to maintain your mercenary disguise. **Risks:** * The battlefield is chaotic. * You could become separated from your companions. * Important evidence could be destroyed during the fighting. ### CHOICE 2 — THE OLD TUNNELS Leave the army behind and secretly enter through abandoned tunnels beneath the city. **Advantages:** * Greater freedom. * Less chance of being recognized. * You can investigate before the main army enters. **Risks:** * No military support. * Unknown creatures may inhabit the tunnels. * Discovery could mean death. Once inside Blackhollow, you discover that something is wrong. The city is strangely quiet. There are no church bells. Civilians are disappearing. Soldiers refuse to talk. And beneath the streets, You hear chanting. ### Objective Updated: **Investigate the strange activity inside Blackhollow.** --- # SCENARIO II — THE CITY WITHOUT BELLS ### Main Quest: **Find the Choir of the Hollow God.** The Ashen Hounds investigate the abandoned districts of Blackhollow. You discover hidden ritual chambers, mutilated corpses, missing civilians, and the symbol of the Hollow God. The deeper You investigate, the more You realize that the cult has infiltrated every level of the city. But the cult isn't simply preparing a sacrifice. They are preparing something much larger. ### New Objective: **Find the cult's headquarters.** During the investigation, each member of the Ashen Hounds encounters something connected to their past. Lyra discovers that the cult knows about her childhood. Garran discovers evidence connected to the child he once rescued from a sacrifice. Father Lucien discovers that the Church has hidden information about Blackhollow for generations. And You discover something even more disturbing: **The cult appears to know who you are.** Eventually, You encounter the leader of the Choir. ### MALACHOR VEYL **The Shepherd of Flesh** Instead of attacking you, Malachor reveals a terrible secret. Blackhollow was built over an ancient prison. Something called **the Hollow God** has been sealed beneath the city for centuries. The siege has provided the cult with everything it needs. Thousands of deaths. Thousands of corpses. Thousands of drops of blood. The entire battle has become part of a ritual. Then the church bells begin ringing. The ritual has started. ### Objective Updated: **Reach the abandoned cathedral.** As Blackhollow erupts into chaos, the royal army finally breaches the city. Cultists attack the streets. The dead begin moving. The Ashen Hounds descend beneath the cathedral. --- # SCENARIO III — THE BLACK SAINT ### Main Quest: **Stop the awakening of the Hollow God.** Beneath the cathedral, You discover an ancient underground prison. Malachor is waiting. He reveals that he was once a knight of Valedorn and that he knew General Aldric. Years ago, the two men discovered the existence of the Hollow God. Aldric chose to keep the creature imprisoned. Malachor chose to free it. Both believed they were protecting humanity. They simply chose different paths. Now the final seal is breaking. The Ashen Hounds must fight through the cult's strongest warriors while Blackhollow burns above them. The ritual reaches its final stage. Something begins to awaken beneath the earth. ### FINAL QUEST: **Decide the fate of Blackhollow.** You must choose what happens next. **Restore the ancient seal.** **Destroy the prison.** **Kill Malachor and end the ritual.** **Or uncover the truth of the Hollow God before making your final decision.** Your choices throughout the three scenarios determine: * Who survives. * Who betrays you. * What the Ashen Hounds discover. * Your relationship with your companions. * The fate of Blackhollow. * The fate of the Hollow God. * And what happens to the Kingdom of Valedorn. --- ## FINAL QUEST The siege that began as a war between an army and a city becomes something far more dangerous. The Ashen Hounds entered Blackhollow disguised as mercenaries. They leave knowing that the real enemy may never have been the army outside the walls. And beneath the ruins of Blackhollow, something ancient is still waiting. **The siege was only the beginning.** WHEN YOU MOVE TO THE NEXT SCENARIO WRITE WHAT HAPPENS TO THE PREVIOUS ONE

Opening scene

#SCENARIO I — THE MASKS OF MERCENARIES Rain fell over the battlefield like cold needles. For ninety-three days, the Kingdom of Valedorn had surrounded the fortress-city of Blackhollow. Its walls had endured everything the royal army could throw at them—catapults, fire, arrows, siege towers, and endless waves of soldiers. Thousands were dead beneath those walls. Tonight, the horns of the final assault were waiting to sound. Among the thousands of mercenaries gathered outside the western wall stood four figures who were not what they appeared to be. They wore battered armor, carried ordinary weapons, and had no insignia of Valedorn. To the soldiers around them, they were simply mercenaries looking for gold. In truth, they were the Ashen Hounds—four elite hunters trained to find and destroy forbidden cults. Only one person in the entire army knew their true identities. General Aldric Veyne. The general summoned them to his command tent shortly before the assault. Inside, a map of Blackhollow covered the table. Several locations had been marked with black wax. Aldric stared at the map in silence. "Blackhollow should have surrendered weeks ago." He placed a bundle of documents on the table. "Instead, our scouts have disappeared. Prisoners have been found mutilated. Soldiers have reported hearing chanting beneath the city." His expression hardened. "This isn't a military problem anymore." Aldric lowered his voice. "There is a cult inside Blackhollow." He revealed their name. The Choir of the Hollow God. Their symbol was a black circle surrounding an empty white eye. "We believe they're preparing a ritual beneath the city. We don't know what they're summoning—or what they're trying to awaken." He looked at each of the four hunters. "That's why you're going inside." A distant horn echoed across the battlefield. The final assault was approaching. Aldric pointed toward the western wall. "You have two choices." He marked the first route. THE WESTERN BREACH. "You enter with the army when we break through the walls. Thousands of soldiers will be moving through the city. You can disappear among them." He marked another route on the map. THE OLD DRAINAGE TUNNELS. "Or you leave the army behind and enter through the old tunnels. Fewer eyes. More control. But if something goes wrong, there will be no soldiers coming to save you." Aldric's eyes became colder. "Whatever you find inside, don't let the cult know what you are." He paused. "And don't trust anyone who knows about the Hollow God." Outside, thousands of soldiers began preparing their weapons. The siege engines were being loaded. The western wall of Blackhollow stood like a black mountain beneath the storm. Then— BOOOOOOM. The first bombardment struck. The final assault had begun. Aldric stepped aside and looked toward the battlefield. "Choose your way inside." The Ashen Hounds left the command tent. Ahead of them waited two paths into Blackhollow: The Western Breach — enter with the invading army. The Old Tunnels — infiltrate the city alone.
